Springs Cafe

Springs Café is a fresh expression of Christianity, an ecumenical initiative of the Methodist, Anglican and Roman Catholic churches. It is something in tune with 21st Century culture where people can find a spiritual home. It is café-style, with light refreshments available. Normally there is contemporary background music, some element of multi-sensory worship, and the use of film-clips to prompt discussion on faith-related themes.

It is aimed at people who have drifted away from traditional churches because they do not feel that these meet their needs and others who have never had any church connection. It is not a midweek group for those attending traditional churches.

It takes place on the second Tuesday evening of the month at 7.30pm at St Nicholas Centre, Lowther Street, Whitehaven.
