Superintendent
- Rev Philip Peacock
A brief biography: Philip was
born in Accrington, Lancashire, but brought up mainly in the West
Midlands. He read Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham, then
taught at Aldersley Comprehensive School in Wolverhampton (main
subject: Chemistry). After doing work as a Lay Pastoral Assistant in
the Harrogate Methodist Circuit, Philip did his theological training at
Wesley House Cambridge.
Philip's previous ministries
have been in the Tavistock (Devon) and Orpington (London Borough of
Bromley) Circuits, with experience of prison chaplaincy at HMP Dartmoor
and HMP Belmarsh. His interests include sport (especially football) and
the relationship between science and faith.
A recently discovered
challenging quote: ‘Aspire not to have more, but to be more’
(Archbishop Oscar Romero, 1917-1980).

Rev David Opie is the Free Church Chaplain covering Sellafield, and is a Baptist Minister in Millom.
Rev Nan Pryde

Rev Pryde is a retired Superintendent of the Whitehaven Methodist Circuit, but is still
available to conduct services on request.
Rev Jim Marshall
Rev Marshall is Vicar at the
Kirkland Mission, one of the home churches of the Lamplugh with Ennerdale Local Ecumenical Partnership.
Rev Stephen Griffiths
Rev Griffiths is Vicar at the
Moresby Chuch, and shares ministry at Moresby Parks Methodist Church.
